A Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) helps protect your vehicle. It takes effect when the original warranty expires, giving you seamless coverage for the mileage and duration you choose. As your Chrysler dealership, we want to tell you about some of the warranty benefits you receive when you choose a VSC.
Customization
When you choose a VSC, you have many options available to tailor it to your needs. There are three available contracts: Extended Care, Extended Care Plus, and Extended Care Premium that protect increasingly greater numbers of components and systems. Once you’ve selected a plan, you can specify a 0$, $100, or $200 deductible for any repairs that might become necessary.
You can also select from several coverage durations, ranging up to a maximum of eight years or 125,000 miles, or seven years with unlimited mileage. You can choose a VSC anytime before your original warranty expires, and your VSC is also transferable to the new owner if you sell your Chrysler while the contract is still in effect.
Additional Protection
Many manufacturers offer their versions of VSCs, but Chrysler offers additional levels of protection that other manufacturers don’t. Auto Appearance Care, for example, is an option you can choose that protects your vehicle against dents and dings. This type of damage looks unsightly, but our expert technicians can repair it using a procedure called Paintless Dent Removal.
Premium Tire & Wheel Coverage is another option you can choose that protects your tires and wheels against cosmetic damage, curb damage, car washes, and other potential issues. When you choose this coverage, you can also select the level of coverage you want.
Roadside Assistance
All VSCs include 24-hour Sign-and-Go roadside assistance for the duration of the contract. If you experience any issues on the road, specialized technicians will arrive to help you get back on the road again. They can change a flat tire, jump-start your battery, deliver emergency fuel, provide lockout assistance, or give you a tow.
If your vehicle can’t be driven due to an issue covered by the contract, our Chrysler can be towed to the closest Chrysler dealer. If you’re 100 miles or more from home when this happens, you can receive up to $1000.00 reimbursement for the cost of food, lodging, and rental car expenses. Additionally, you can receive up to $45.00 per day toward the expense of a rental car while your vehicle is repaired.
